After months of building, testing, and refining, We're incredibly proud to announce the official launch of RecruitMatch AI - a recruitment platform powered by AI that changes how companies hire and how job seekers find their next opportunity.

How It Started

My colleague and I were applying for a few freelance web developer jobs. Normally we'd at least get an interview, but this time we weren't even getting responses half of the time. So we asked a recruiter what was going on and that's when we found out our resumes weren't ATS ready.

ATS what's that? We quickly learned that having a beautifully designed resume doesn't get you to the top of the pile anymore. Now you need a resume that automated systems can scan easily, and if yours doesn't tick the right boxes, it never reaches a human at all.

That's where the idea was born. We wanted to build an AI tool that converts resumes into an ATS-friendly format and compares them against a job vacancy, so you can actually check whether you're a good match before you hit apply.

Then we started talking to recruiters and it turned out this was a problem on their side too. They were doing exactly this process by hand for their candidates, including the matching. That conversation is what turned a job seeker tool into something much bigger. That's how RecruitMatch AI was born.

For Job Seekers

When you upload your CV and a job description to RecruitMatch AI, it immediately goes to work. You get an ATS compatibility score, the same kind of scoring that most companies use to filter applications before a human ever reads them, along with a clear breakdown of your strengths and gaps against that specific role.

But we went further than just a score. The AI identifies missing keywords and suggests how to integrate them naturally into your CV. It doesn't just tell you what's wrong - it helps you fix it. You can also generate tailored cover letters in seconds and build a polished CV using the built-in templates.

The result? Job hunting becomes a process with clear, actionable feedback instead of a guessing game.

For Recruiters and Agencies

For recruiters, the biggest time drain is manual screening. With RecruitMatch AI, you can upload candidates in bulk, create job listings directly from a URL, and let the AI instantly match and rank your entire pool. Not just with a number, but with a clear explanation of each candidate's strengths and gaps against your requirements.

Multiple team members can work within the same account, with access controls built in from day one. We also built GDPR compliance in from the start, including access logging and suspicious activity detection, so agencies can stay compliant without extra custom development.

And when the offer is accepted, our Onboarding Add-on takes over. Instead of sending a new hire a stack of PDFs and a calendar invite, you give them their own personal onboarding page - a clean, private space they can log into before their first day even starts. They can see what their first day looks like, read through their contract, and browse the company handbook at their own pace, from their couch, the night before they start.

How We Built It - And Where AI Comes In

At Digital Rebel, we've always been Drupal specialists. RecruitMatch AI is built on a different stack, designed specifically for speed and AI integration.

The matching engine uses large language models to understand context, not just keywords. A traditional system might pass over a candidate who doesn't use the exact phrase "project management" even if their CV clearly shows they've been leading projects for years. Our AI understands the relationship between skills, experience, and requirements in a much more human way.

Every match comes with an explanation - not just a score, but a breakdown of why a candidate fits, where they fall short, and what would close the gap. That transparency matters. Recruiters need to justify their decisions, and candidates deserve to understand where they stand.
